Manchester United could lose this star to Barcelona.
They are ancient cathedrals which tower over the the famous respective cities. The Nou Camp and Old Trafford are bastions where some of the sports most famous competitors graced the turf and where some of football’s greatest moments were conjured. Those fortunate enough to represent both Manchester United and Barcelona etch their names in eternal folklore.
They are names who are talked about often and they are names who come around once in every generation.
To have graced the turf at both the Nou Camp and Old Trafford is the ultimate footballing privilege. They are grounds where the fans are perpetually electric. Where there is no such thing as a dull atmosphere or an insignificant moment on the pitch. Every ball is expected to be fought for with the same ferocity and intensity as the one before.

Angel Gomes already has his name down in Man United history. He was the youngest debutant in the club’s Premier League era and thus will always be remembered at the club. At least until someone comes along to break his formidable feat.
However, he could soon put his name down in footballing folklore for yet another reason.
According to Mundo Deportivo via Sport Witness Barcelona are interested in signing Angel Gomes this summe.
The Spanish giants have been tracking the youngster for some time, therefore it would not be a surprise if they did eventually make a move for the United midfielder. Angel Gomes’ future is still up in the air at the club.
The young midfielder is yet to sign a new contract and contract talks seem to have stalled.
Angel Gomes is a talented midfielder. There is a reason why the young star was given his opportunity so early in his senior career all the way back in 2017. Jose Mourinho rarely gives chances to youth players so that is even further proof of Angel Gomes’ talent.
Yet for one reason or another, Angel Gomes has not been given the chances or development people would have expected.
At Barcelona, he is unlikely to be given more chances, however, according to the report by Mundo Deportivo the Spanish giants are offered to give him higher wages.
Would you allow Angel Gomes to leave for Barcelona or are United making a huge mistake?
