Manager hands Manchester United a massive transfer boost
All hope is not lost for Manchester United.
The last few days have been the portrayal of mixed-emotions for the United fans.
First, they witnessed United’s merciless 3-0 victory over Sheffield United where Anthony Martial racked up a hat-trick, breaking the long-standing 7 years drought of hat-tricks in the Premier League.
Then, not only did Chelsea manage to win their game against Manchester City, but they helped Liverpool to grab their first Premier League title and the 19th league title after 30 years. And they are now only one title behind Manchester United’s tally of 20.

It was a horrendous moment to see Liverpool securing the title with the help of Chelsea, whom United are tussling with for the devoted fourth place, a gateway to next season’s Champions League.
It has been incredibly shocking how far Manchester United have fallen since the departure of their legendary gaffer Sir Alex Ferguson.
Now, with Ferguson’s one of the favourite pupils in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the helm, United devotees are desperately hoping for some miracle to happen next season. It is needless to say that only miracles can stop Liverpool from breaking United’s long-lived feat.
The upcoming summer transfer window is going to play a vital role in the club’s ambitions for the next season.
Amidst the financial conundrum caused by the coronavirus pandemic, most of their rivals are going to spend very cautiously in the transfer market, while United seriously need to take advantage of their shortcomings should the Red Devils want to return to the pinnacle of European football.
Midfield is an area Manchester United should be looking to strengthen in the summer. And it is now widely known that Birmingham City‘s teenage wonderkid Jude Bellingham is one of the main midfield targets for Ole Gunnar Solskajer this summer.
The hype of signing the teenager was at its peak last March when Jude Bellingham visited United’s AON training complex at Carrington with his parents.
But, since then, the kayak of Jude Bellingham has seemingly started changing its direction. And it is understood that his next destination is going to be Germany, where Borussia Dortmund is ready with a luscious offer for the 16-year-old prodigy.
However, according to Birmingham City manager, Pep Clotet, Jude Bellingham has not decided yet where he is going to move in the upcoming summer transfer window. The manager confirmed:
"“He has not indicated to me that he has made a decision.”“I understand as well there are opportunities abroad where the development of the player which is something that must be considered as well.“The only thing I would say is that whatever he picks or wherever he goes he takes the same ambition he has here, the same pride, the same focus on being better and helping the team.”“It’s as simple as always. Naturally we have had a little talk about football – just about football on Monday.”“We spoke about positions on the pitch, oppositions and we discussed as well his position and his responsibilities to the team.“I have a feeling every day I am working with him and I see he is as focused as ever. He had a fantastic training today and was very happy and focused on trying to give Birmingham the best possible finish.”"
If we believe in what Clotet said regarding Belligham’s future, there still remains a slight hope that he might consider joining United this summer. It would be very interesting to see how the story pans out in the coming weeks.
