Could he be on Manchester United’s radar?

For the last few months prior to the suspension of the football the conversation around Manchester United centred on one primary talking point; the future of Paul Pogba. The media was rife with rumours about the French World Cup winner and his imminent departure from Old Trafford.

Now as things stand, Paul Pogba’s future is less uncertain. It seems that the Frenchman’s decision will be hampered by the current financial crisis with not many of his suitors willing to make a gamble by spending a hefty fee on his services and risk incurring financial problems.

And so, Paul Pogba may remain a Man United player for the foreseeable future. The Red Devils supporters will not complain about that. Already the Frenchman’s relationship with new arrival Bruno Fernandes has started to blossom, exemplified by an astute performance against Sheffield United.

More from Red Devil Armada

It is a partnership which could be integral in helping to guide the Red Devils back to where they belong and if the two players continue to bring the best out of each other, Pogba may be more inclined to stay at Old Trafford.

Though inevitably, the Frenchman is unlikely to remain at United for a long period of time. Pogba is a player who seems to be searching for a big move and destined to play for someone like Real Madrid or Paris Saint Germain.

Though United fans should not be anxious about the Frenchman’s departure. Especially since it seems the Red Devils could already have a potential replacement for Paul Pogba lined up.

Diadie Samassekou is an up and coming name in football. The Mali international established himself as an impressive midfielder whilst plying his trade for Red Bull Salzburg. The Austrian outfit are renowned for bringing through exciting and world-class talent. From Sadio Mane to Erling Braut Haaland.

Last summer, Diadie Samassekou has moved to Hoffeinheim in the Bundesliga and whilst he has struggled with injuries this season, he remains ambitious.

Speaking to Onze Mondial via Sport Witness Diadie Samassekou has revealed he dreams of playing in the Premier League and that he was a boyhood fan of Man United.

Samassekou said the following:

"“Of course, since I was little, I’ve been a big fan of Manchester United. Playing in that league has always made me dream, and I want to give myself the means to achieve that goal”."

Samassekou is an exciting talent. At Salzburg he was compared to the likes of Paul Pogba and he has the potential to be as good as the Frenchman.

A combative midfielder, if Samassekou continues his improvement he could certainly replace the Frenchman at Old Trafford.
