Manager of Manchester United target ‘confirms’ he will leave this summer
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United’s path looks clear.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not only faces a gruelling period as Manchester United boss with games coming thick and fast but the Norwegian will also have to concentrate his energy on trying to find solutions to his problems in the transfer window.
Against Tottenham on the Red Devils’ first game back, one problem was glaringly clear. United lacked the edge and the finishing touch. They created plenty of chances, but the team’s forwards had either been too rusty or just not up to the standard.
The issue stems from the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial not being natural strikers. The pair of them prefer to play on the wing and as a result they are not clear cut finishers.

The Red Devils need someone with an innate sense for the goal. A player who was born to score. Someone not unlike Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was himself.
Victor Osimhen certainly fits into that category. The Nigerian Lille forward has been prolific throughout his career and has an impressive goalscoring record. This season he found the back of the net an impressive 18 times before the French league was voided and thus his chances of improving his stats dully thwarted.
Nonetheless with impressive numbers, and having caught the eye against Chelsea in the Champions League Victor Osimhen is certainly an ideal catch.
He is tall but not one dimensional, he can play with his feet too. He is also extremely fast which would be perfectly suited to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s style of play.
Understandably with the Norwegian’s current problems at the club, Victor Osimhen is firmly on the radar at Old Trafford. The Nigerian has been heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils.
And United have been given a major boost in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen with the Lille manager Christopher Galtier confirming that the forward will be leaving the club via the Daily Mail.
That will be a huge boost to Solskjaer and one which has opened up a clear pathway for the Red Devils to make a move.
Victor Osimhen could be the perfect striker and with the likes of Pogba and Bruno Fernandes supplying him from midfield he could blossom into a world-class forward.
Would you be happy with the signing of Victor Osimhen?
