Manchester United could have a new Sanchez suitor.

For almost a decade there has been a gaping void at Manchester United. The number seven has been worn by misfits and misfiring stars, not worthy enough to represent the legendary shirt once worn by the likes of Ronaldo, Cantona and Beckham. When Alexis Sanchez arrived there was finally excitement that the barren era would be over at last.

He was a Premier League hero. At Arsenal he established himself as one of the most exciting players in the world. The Chilean could slalom past defenders with ease and he could unleash a deft shot with power and venom that would usually nestle into the back of the net.

Yet at Old Trafford, as the fans waited eagerly, Alexis Sanchez failed to conjure even a whisker of his talent in the famous number seven shirt. Heralded as the replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, Sanchez was anything but.

More from Red Devil Armada

He’d struggle in the rigid defensive system under Jose Mourinho and he’d have no bigger fortune under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s system either.

Often times, some players just do not fit a certain club and that certainly seems to be the case with Alexis Sanchez. Him and the Red Devils are quite simply not the right match.

Soon to turn 32 years of age, the Chilean’s ageing legs have proved a challenge even in the Serie A whilst on loan at Inter Milan. His pace has dwindled and his match sharpness is hardly what it used to be.

Sanchez is on the brink of retirement and it is unlikely he will have a future at Man United. With the Red Devils concentrating on building a team for the future, the Chilean will hardly be a part of that plan.

Yet despite, Alexis Sanchez’s apparent decline it seems like there are still teams who would love to add him to to their squad.

Ronaldo Nazario is the president of Real Valladolid and he declared that he would be happy to see Alexis Sanchez at the La Liga side.

Speaking to En Cancha via Sport Witness, Ronaldo Nazaria said the following.

"“Alexis Sánchez has always done well everywhere. If he can’t do it at Inter, Valladolid open the doors to welcome him.”"

Currently, Real Valladolid are 15th in La Liga and they are not known to spend big, therefore Alexis Sanchez’s wage demands would surely be an issue.
