Manchester United could offer surprise star in exchange for Jadon Sancho

Manchester United could discard this player for Sancho.
When he arrived, Manchester United supporters were in a frenzy. He was heralded as the second coming. The man who would finally help the Red Devils ascend back to the pinnacle of the Premier League and secure the long coveted trophy which has eluded them since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.
Most importantly Alexis Sanchez was meant to finally erase the lingering void left behind by Cristiano Ronaldo on the flanks. Having inherited the famous number seven shirt at Old Trafford and having teared Premier League defences apart whilst at Arsenal, the expectations were high for the Chilean at United.
The fans were excited to have a player of his ilk and talent. They had beaten Pep Guardiola to his services and the anticipation was tremendous as Sanchez prepared to make his debut.

Unfortunately, the Red Devils supporters would bat their eyes and scratch their heads as they watched Sanchez strut on the field in United colours for the first time. They could hardly believe it was the same player who they witnessed at Arsenal.
Alexis Sanchez struggled to fit into the rigid Jose Mourinho system at Old Trafford and was a shadow of his former self.
His time at Old Trafford has been a bitter resentment as his career saw no revival under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer either as he looks to be on the fringes of the squad having been shipped out to Inter Milan this season.
But it seems, Alexis Sanchez could still somewhat help the Red Devils.
According to Mundo Deportivo via TalkSport, United are considering offering Sanchez as part of the deal to bring Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho is undoubtedly the number one priority at United this summer. The England international is a generational talent who is expected to become a major superstar for years to come.
Declared as the rightful heir to Cristiano Ronaldo’s number seven throne, Sancho has elicited the same excitement as Sanchez from the supporters.
One will hope if United can entice Dortmund with the prospect of Sanchez, and Jadon Sancho does sign a deal with the Red Devils, he will not follow suit of his Chilean predecessor.
