Manchester United are looking to snag a bargain.

Manchester United fans would have been expecting some glamorous transfers this season. The Red Devils tend to make a marquee signing almost every summer. Ed Woodward has been good at bringing at least one high profile name to the club during past windows. Even if those players have betrayed him since.

Though with the unprecedented climate, the big signings United fans are expecting might not be feasible.

The Red Devils have clearly been vying to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. The 20 year old England international seems like the perfect transfer. He fits impeccably into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s transfer strategy.

More from Red Devil Armada

Sancho is young, he is quick and he is exactly what the club needs. However, because the youngster is so talented and due to his status as one of the most promising players on the planet, Borussia Dortmund are understandably demanding a hefty price for his services.

It could be a fee which might be too steep for the Red Devils considering the circumstances and the mounting financial stresses which the suspension of the football has caused as well as the lack of match-day profits for the foreseeable future at least.

And it seems United could already be considering alternatives to recruit instead of Jadon Sancho.

Juventus star, Federico Bernardeschi might not be the glamorous name the Red Devils faithful are expecting, however he could be the star United bring to Old Trafford instead of Sancho according to the latest reports.

Italian outlet TuttoSport via TeamTalk has claimed that United will be looking to make a move for Federico Bernardeschi if they fail to recruit Sancho.

Bernardeschi would be available for only £30 million which considering his status and ability could be a huge bargain.

The versatile Italian winger has been a stalwart member of a dominant Juventus squad in Serie A as well as a loyal servant for his country.

He is still just 26 years of age, meaning he has the potential to get better and is currently approaching his prime.

Federico Bernardeschi could be a valuable option for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and a name who could have the potential to endear himself to the Red Devils faithful.
