Manchester United could offer a huge pay rise for this youngster.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskajer is in a difficult mission of taking the Red Devils back to the pinnacle of English football. And despite facing unavoidable criticism, the Norwegian has shown enough stability while taking tough decisions for the club’s better future.
At least he has proved that United’s hunt for success should not only rely on marquee signings but homegrown energy is also needed. And hence, we have witnessed the rise of some talented prodigies from the United’s youth set-up this term.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer showcasing immense faith on youth development, the likes of Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong, Brandon Williams, Angel Gomes, and James Garner can hope for their bright future at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’.
It is the first time since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson that the academy has produced that number of talented youngsters. And it is expected that the list of productive graduates is going to get longer in the upcoming seasons, with a number of gifted assets knocking at the door for first-team football.
The sudden evolution of Brandon Williams has been one of the top breathtaking stories of the 2019-20 campaign. Last season, the kid was playing in the club’s youth ranks, and nobody would have ever imagined that he would become one of the main sources of on-field energy for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
His never-say-die attitude has already earned him 1.768 minutes for Solskjaer’s United side across all competitions. His turbulent pace has also helped him garner two assists and one goal so far from 26 appearances.
Luke Shaw‘s injury this season has provided Brandon Williams with the time he needed to settle down in the senior squad. And now Shaw has got a healthy competitor in Brandon Williams for that devoted left-back spot.
For being right-footed, Brandon also possesses the ability to run down the right side of the pitch and play as a right-back. However, the 19-year-old has not been used that much in the right-back position this term. But, in the future, his versatility could be a lethal weapon in Solskjaer’s arsenal.
According to the reports from The Athletic, Brandon Williams is going to get a huge pay rise in his new contract. Since signing a new contract back in October 2019, Williams has been receiving the wage of £4,000-a-week from the club.
But, considering his development, a huge rise in his salary is needed to be offered in William’s new contract to fend off interests from the rival clubs.
While speaking on an interview, Solskjaer confirmed that the kid has a long-term future at the red side of Manchester, saying:
"‘His hunger is a lesson for everyone who wants to be a footballer, the attitude he’s showing.’‘It’ll be up to him, myself and the club to keep him that hungry. I don’t expect him to change because he’s got the heart for it. ‘He’s been absolutely outstanding since he came in. Every challenge we’ve put in front of him he’s tackled head-on.’"
A report from Express Sport also suggests that England boss Gareth Southgate is keeping an eye on the development of Brandon Williams and has insisted that the youngster has the capability to break into the England national team.
With the likes of Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot receiving £190,000 and £50,000-per-week respectively, how much would you offer to Brandon Williams if you were the United boss?
