Manchester United could still sell flop in the summer window
According to the latest reports, Manchester United could offload one of their sensational January signings in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Amidst the coronavirus crisis, the news of Premier League’s return to the English soil has already put the smile back on those football devotees’ faces.
If everything goes well, the world is set to witness the Premier League’s return as soon as June 17th, with the fixtures of Aston Villa vs Sheffield United and Manchester City vs Arsenal being played behind the closed doors.
Reports also suggest that the English top division has set 25 July as a provisional date to end the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.

As soon as the 2019-20 campaign ends, the gossips of the summer transfer window would start covering the front pages of outlets. Not only the gossips, but some eye-catching done deals would make the headlines.
However, it is believed that the upcoming transfer window would actually be the quietest in its recent history owing to the loss clubs faced due to the postponement of games and losing a huge amount of revenues.
Despite all these chaos, some clubs are expected to stick to their summer transfer plans and would be going after their proposed targets this summer.
Manchester United and Internazionale are two of the many teams that would remain unfazed in the transfer market despite being already hit hard by the current crisis.
Over the last two transfer windows, Inter have lured three players from Manchester United, namely Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, and Ashley Young.
Although, the deal of Alexis Sanchez was just a conventional one-year loan which is reportedly set to expire at the end of the current season.
Since joining Inter in the last summer transfer window after failing to live up to the expectations at Old Trafford, the 31-year-old ‘El Niño’ has scored one goal and provided three assists from 15 appearances across all competitions for I Nerazzurri.
However, the 2019-20 season has seen him settle on the sideline for 84 days due to the peroneus tendon injury and has missed around 14 games for the Serie A side,
Although it has not been a satisfying journey so far for the South American in the Italian top division, the sporting director of Internazionale, Piero Ausilio, has confirmed that the club is ready to give Alexis Sanchez the rest of the season and then would make a decision on his future at the blue side of Milan.
Speaking on an interview with Sky Sports Italia via Express Sport, Piero Ausilio said:
"‘We want to keep everyone, including Alexis Sanchez. We are counting on him in the coming months.’‘He was out injured for quite a while, but he did well before that in matches against Barcelona and Sampdoria. I saw the Sanchez from his best campaigns in Udine and Arsenal.’‘He didn’t have a lot of time, but he now has the chance to show his value and then we will make a decision on him.’"
Sanchez’s permanent move to Inter might look simple on naked-eyes. But it is not that simple at all as Sanchez’s enormous wage demand could splash cold water on Inter’s hope of keeping him at San Siro.
With Inter Milan currently paying £100,000 of Sanchez’s £350,000-per-week wages, the Chilean will have to take a massive cut in wage should he want to pursue his career in Italy.
On the other hand, Manchester United are desperate to offload the former Arsenal superstar. And the departure of another United flop is expected to be finalised at any cost in the upcoming summer window.
Do you think Alexis Sanchez should return to Manchester United by the end of his loan deal?
