According to newly emerged reports, Manchester United are on the brink of making the deal done for their most sought-after transfer targets.

The current crisis surrounding the world has pushed the club even further back where it has aspired to belong since the departure of Manchester United’s legendary gaffer Sir Alex Ferguson. The club is in an absolute mess.

Underwhelming performances, struggling to find the way back to the pinnacle of European football, and suffering without a stiff identity on the pitch – the story of the Mancunian club has been dreadful over the recent years.

And amidst the pandemic situation, the authorities of the club, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co, are currently finding themselves at the edge of a narrow precipice, with several decisive decisions regarding the future of the club yet to be taken.

More from Red Devil Armada

On one hand, the club needs to sign players to achieve success, on the other hand, the current crisis has already started putting holes in United’s financial aspects.

Now, whether United splash the money just like they have done over the last few seasons, or keep the zip of their piggy bank close and show some faith in what they have got – the time to make a final decision has come for the Norweigan.

Since Solskjaer was given the permanent job, the Reds of Manchester have seen the arrival of five superstars in total, namely Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Daniel James, Bruno Fernandes, and Odion Ighalo.

Though, the arrival of the Nigerian might not be that long-lasting as his 6-months loan deal with United will expire on May 31, with the club showcasing no intention to put a permanent deal on the table for Ighalo.

While the 30-year-old’s future at the club is still in jeopardy, what is notable amongst all the transfer made by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over the course of a summer and winter transfer window is all of them possess a strict personality which suits the club ‘s prestigious culture. And Solskjaer wants to build his team based on that traditional philosophy.

If everything goes well, we might see Manchester United making some big deals this summer as well, as per what reports surrounding the Red side of Manchester suggest.

According to the report from France via The Sun, The Red Devils are in the pole position to securing a deal for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. The report suggests that Ole Gunnar Solskaer is desperate to bring the gigantic defender to United this summer.

It’s believed that Manchester United are willing to pay £80m for the 28-year-old defender as the men in United’s boardroom understand that the crisis has already reduced the Senegalese’s market value, which once was over £90m.

With Chris Smalling edging closer to making his loan-deal permanent at AS Roma and Eric Bailly turning into an injury-prone asset, United think there should be another centre-back who could do constantly well and challenge the likes of Victor Lindelof and Axel Tuanzebe for that devoted spot in the starting eleven.

Don’t you think Manchester United should give Axel Tuanzebe some more minutes?
