According to the latest reports, Manchester United chief Ed Woodward wants to sign the following three players in the summer transfer window.

He’ll be the first to admit it, Ed Woodward hasn’t always pulled off the right move at Manchester United. Since his arrival at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have struggled to implement a coherent transfer strategy.

Woodward’s mishaps are notorious, from Angel Di Maria to Falcao and Alexis Sanchez. The Red Devils’ chief has often over-paid for stars with high pedigrees only for them to struggle to fit into the club’s style of play and turn out to be major flops.

In January, Ed Woodward was on the brink of bringing major disappointment to the club’s supporters once more.

For a few days, as negotiations with Sporting Lisbon dragged on, it seemed like Woodward had lost out on the mercurial talent of Bruno Fernandes.

It promised to be yet another target the club would miss out on.

However, in the end Sporting succumbed and Woodward managed to get his man to sign on the dotted line.

Bruno Fernandes’ arrival has been Ed Woodward’s best signing to date. The Portuguese midfielder has already had a transformative impact on the team and is set to become a cult favourite at Old Trafford.

Ed Woodward will look to continue that momentum in the summer transfer window, despite the current crisis unfurling across the globe.

According to the latest report by Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils will push to sign the trio of Jude Bellingham, Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho in the summer.

Jadon Sancho will undoubtedly be the top priority for the fans, with the Borussia Dortmund winger tipped to become a world superstar.

Though the arrival of Jack Grealish could be an extremely crucial one too. Solskjaer is short of options in midfield and devoid of quality with the likes of Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira clearly not good enough for the club. Jack Grealish could alleviate Solskjaer’s problems.

Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham is an exciting prospect for the future. The 16 year old has been extremely impressive in the Championship this season, and his exuberant energy could be a huge asset for Solskjaer.

If Ed Woodward manages to land all three stars in the summer, his perception amongst the Red Devils faithful might begin to shift.
