According to the latest reports this current Manchester United star has been likened to former Red Devils favourite Cristiano Ronaldo.
Players like Cristiano Ronaldo are generational. They come around once every blue moon and will inevitably remain an indelible part of football history. The Portuguese’s memory still lingers vividly in minds of Manchester United supporters.
For half a decade, Cristiano Ronaldo was adored and worshipped at Old Trafford. He would make the fans gleam and perform feats which seemed otherworldly. His rippling muscles and bulging thighs had the power and venom to score goals from outrageous angles. His strikes against Portsmouth and Porto will go down as some of the best in the club’s illustrious history.
Ultimately, the lure of Real Madrid was too much for Ronaldo and he would depart for pastures new.

The Red Devils have spent the decade, which has unfurled since, desperately trying to replace Ronaldo’s quality with no avail.
However, it seems they could have finally found someone of the Portuguese winger’s ilk.
Bruno Fernandes arrived at United from Sporting Lisbon, just like Cristiano Ronaldo. The current number 18 at Old Trafford is a Portuguese international too. However the comparisons do not just end there.
According to his former teammate Luis Phellype who spoke to A Bola via Daily Mirror, Bruno Fernandes has a similar winning mentality to Cristiano Ronaldo. Phellype told the media outlet that ‘Bruno Fernandes is like Cristiano Ronaldo, when he losses he can’t talk to anyone.’
That is a hunger which has often been missing from the current Old Trafford set-up. Bruno Fernanes’ desire to win is an admirable trait and one that could be a huge asset to the team.
Often in the past few seasons, the Red Devils have lacked a winning mentality and a leader. Bruno Fernandes’ attitude therefore could become a huge asset to the team and one that United have already benefitted from.
Fernandes’ ability to score from long range and his excellent free-kick techniques are all assets which Cristiano Ronaldo had.
Of course, Bruno Fernandes will not come close to replicating Ronaldo’s career, but he could be the one to finally erase those haunting memories of the current Juventus star at Old Trafford.
What do you think, can Bruno Fernandes become Man United’s next Cristiano Ronaldo?
