Manchester United may already have their very own Jadon Sancho
By Bence Bocsak
If the latest reports are to be believed Manchester United may already have their very own Jadon Sancho which could potentially save the club millions.
Almost three years ago, Jadon Sancho left Manchester to join Borussia Dortmund. At the time not many batted an eye. It was an unusual transfer but the 17 year old’s stock was relatively unknown even in his native England. Three years later, Manchester United are desperate to bring Sancho back to the Northern city.
In those three years, Jadon Sancho has established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in world football. His name will be known to most football fans worldwide.
His talent is unique. Sancho is the master of deceit, able to weave past opponents with cunning tricks and flicks. He’s got a great eye for goal and his teammates too. Sancho’s distribution is one of a kind.

With his evident world-class ability, it is no surprise Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co are desperate to land the Englishman’s services.
However, if the latest reports are to be believed this summer, the Red Devils could be losing a ‘Jadon Sancho’ of their own.
A report by the Manchester Evening News has claimed that Angel Gomes is in a similar situation to Jadon Sancho of three years ago when he was on the brink of leaving Manchester City.
Angel Gomes’ contract expires in the summer and the diminutive midfielder who became one of the youngest players to feature in the first team exactly three years ago looks unlikely to sign an extension.
But it isn’t just the contract extension which makes Angel Gomes similar to Sancho.
Three years ago, Gomes who is in the same age group as Sancho was regarded to be just as good as the current Borussia Dortmund star. In fact if anything Angel Gomes was somewhat higher rated. If you would have asked a coach back then who would have the better career, most would have tipped Gomes for stardom.
Angel Gomes’ ability and class is obvious. There is a reason why the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona are purportedly interested in his services.
The 20 year old has huge potential and it is a shame he never got the chance to fulfil in the first team.
Time is still left for United to prevent losing the young star, but it is ticking ever so fast.
Do you think Angel Gomes could be as good as Jadon Sancho?
