Manchester United want to sign Barcelona’s ideal Luis Suarez replacement

According to the latest reports, Manchester United could be about to sign Barcelona’s number one target to replace Suarez in the summer transfer window.
When Luis Suarez played against Manchester United, the Uruguayan would be a perpetual nuisance. Suarez had a formidable record against the Red Devils. He’d weave through United’s best defenders and taunt them with his clever tricks and tenacious play. He’d often score too.
Of course, Suarez will not be remembered merely for his talent and skill. His reputation will be forever tarnished by the infamous comments which he used to degrade United legend Patrice Evra.
They were comments which should have no place in our world, let alone on the football pitch.
Nonetheless, Suarez’s talent and skill is without a shadow of doubt otherworldly. The Uruguayan is one of the best forwards in the world.

His career stats are the perfect proof. Everywhere he went, Suarez broke goalscoring records.
Lautaro Martinez has set out on a similar path. The 22 year old Argentine has commenced his career much like Suarez.
There are some similarities in his style of play too. Martinez has a similar hunger and tenacity on the pitch. His skill and clever feints enables him to scuttle through thickets of defenders consistently and he has a venomous shot.
It is no surprise that Barcelona have set their eyes on Lautaro Martinez to replace the ageing legs of Luis Suarez.
However according Spanish outlet Sport via the Daily Express, United have embarked on a mission to scupper Barcelona’s hopes of landing Lautaro Martinez by trying to lure the Argentine to Old Trafford instead.
Solskjaer has been vying for a world-class forward ever since the departure of Romelu Lukaku. Lautaro Martinez could be the perfect fit. With his explosive style he could be well suited to the hustle and bustle of the Premier League and his astute movement could form a fearsome partnership with Bruno Fernandes‘ creative ingenuity.
In the past year or so, Inter Milan have bought plenty of United players to Italy, the Red Devils should take advantage of the good relationship between the club’s in order to beat Barcelona to Lautaro Martinez’s signature.
