According to the latest reports, if Manchester United sign Jadon Sancho this fan favourite could leave the club in the summer transfer window.

For the past few months, there has been one name on the Manchester United fans’ lips. His name is everywhere. On every media outlet. All across Twitter and Facebook. Plastered across Youtube. Even in the empty streets of Manchester it lingers in the air.

Jadon Sancho is the master of deceit. He’s a sorcerer on the football wield. A wizard who is able to wield the ball as if it was glued to his feet and bamboozle his opponents in the process.

The Red Devils have had plenty of players of Sancho’s ilk in the past. When you think of masters of the art of football you’ll recall Eric Cantona and his dazzling skill or Cristiano Ronaldo and his immense power.

However, for over a decade now, Old Trafford has been barren and devoid of a true entertainer. It is why the prospect of Jadon Sancho potentially signing for the club is so titillating.

Of course with every good thing usually there comes a great sacrifice too.

Daniel James is no magician. He does not have the twinkling toes of Sancho or the the ability to perform clever feints and weave himself through rigid defences. What James does have is pace, and industrial energy.

Since his arrival in the summer, the Welsh winger has won himself into the hearts of the Red Devils faithful with spirited performances.

Daniel James has always given his all in a Man United shirt. His pace has often caused problems in Solskjaer’s counter attacking style of play.

However, with Jadon Sancho arriving and the likes of Marcus Rashford returning from injury, Daniel James might not get as much playing time as he would prefer next season.

That added competition could potentially see Daniel James looking for a move away from Old Trafford.

And while James Cooper from Sky Sports News via the Daily Express, thinks the Red Devils are ‘unlikely’ to sanction a loan move for Daniel James in the summer, with the current crisis, United might not be able to afford having a squad player of James’ ilk.

That could force the Red Devils to sell or loan Daniel James. Especially considering they would have to pay a hefty fee in order to secure Jadon Sancho’s services.

Next. Red Devils could potentially move to sign Mourinho's old target. dark
