According to the latest reports, this Manchester United midfielder has made a bold statement about his long term future ahead of the transfer window.

In the late 00s, the Premier League suddenly faced a mass influx of young talent arriving from abroad. Manchester United were one of the first teams to jump onto the trend, luring players from established academies in Europe to Carrington.

One of the first to make such a bold move was Gerard Pique, but soon many would follow suit.

Andreas Pereira was one of those players. The Brazilian star born in Belgium honed his skills at PSV Eindhoven but made the move to Old Trafford at just 15 years of age. The Red Devils beat the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool for his services in a major coup.

Having come from a football lineage, unlike many of his fellow compatriots from Brazil, Pereira did not learn his trade on the beaches of South America, instead he developed his craft on the streets of Belgium with his father plying his trade in the European country.

Nonetheless, the talent was evident for all too see, Andreas Pereira oozes flair and creativity and he was a standout performer at every level in Carrington.

His performances merited him a debut in the first team at just 18 years of age.

Unfortunately despite an impressive debut, Andreas Pereira never managed to build on his first opportunity.

Only after two loan spells in LA Liga has the Brazilian started to feature regularly in the first team.

Much has been thanks to the trust of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with the Norwegian placing his faith in the club’s academy.

And whilst there has been glimmers of Andreas Pereira’s quality, the Brazilian has failed to be a consistent performer in the first team.

The academy graduate is nowhere near the level where the Red Devils aspire to be. His chances could be increasingly limited with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and the potential signing of Jack Grealish too.

Unsurprisingly that has made Andreas Pereira being linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.

And speaking about his future, Andreas Pereira revealed to Globo Esporte via Sport Witness that it would be unlikely for him to play for another English club other than United.

This is what Andreas Pereira said in full.

"“So from here to play for another team in England, I think it’s difficult. I don’t think I’d do it. Not in England.”"

The comments will be endearing for Man United fans, they are bold too considering Pereira is still just 24 years old and has the vast majority of his career ahead of him.

Pereira also added he would like to play for ‘another big club’ like ‘Barcelona and Real Madrid’
