Manchester United’s number one target, Jadon Sancho, has seemed to confirm he wants to sign for the Red Devils ahead of the summer transfer window.

For years the flanks at Manchester United have been neglected. Ed Woodward has tried time and time again to alleviate the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo over a decade ago, but the United chief’s attempts have been to no avail.

Many have come and offered a brief glimmer of hope, only to dash it away with performances that were simply appalling. From Angel Di Maria to Alexis Sanchez and everything in between, the list is endless.

However over the last few months, that hope seems to have elevated around Old Trafford.

United have been heavily linked with a move for Jadon Sancho.

More from Red Devil Armada

The 20 year old English winger is regarded as one of the biggest prospects in world football. Alongside Kylian Mbappe, Jadon Sancho is expected to take the mantle from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo once the pair of them hang up their boots.

At United, Sancho could establish himself as the star he has been tipped to become. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is evidently building a formidable side and lining up alongside, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, the Red Devils could have one of the most exciting attacking front free with Jadon Sancho in their ranks.

Sancho is a special player. He is the master of deceit, able to manipulate defenders like some sort of magician.

At Dortmund, he has tormented Bundesliga defenders for almost two years now. Sancho has racked up impressive numbers too, both in terms of goals and assists. 31 goals and 42 assists in 90 games for the German club in total.

His pace is perfectly suited to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s counter attacking style of play.

And it seems, Sancho has given a huge hint about his desire to move to Old Trafford in the summer.

Speaking to Micah Richards and Reiss Nelson on England’s official Youtube Channel via the Metro, Sancho admitted he missed being back in England. The winger made the following comment about what his biggest challenge had been at Borussia Dortmund.

"“Another challenge. This one has been the biggest one yet. Living abroad is a whole different game, away from everyone, family, friends. The sacrifice is deep.”"

The fact that Sancho is feeling homesick could be a huge sign he is ready to make the move to Man United, and it will give the club a major boost in their attempts to sign the 20 year old England international.
