Manchester United agree to sign exciting star from Spanish giants
By Bence Bocsak
According to the latest reports, Manchester United have agreed to bring this exciting star to the club from a Spanish giant ahead of the summer window.
At the Nou Camp, Manchester United were about to fall incredibly short of achieving their long sought dream. The year was 1999. The Red Devils trailed Bayern Munich in the Champions League final until the 90th minute. But then Teddy Sheringham came along and equalled the scores, before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would score a spectacular winner in the dying embers of the game.
On Barcelona’s turf, the Red Devils became treble winners.
It was undoubtedly Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s finest memory in his playing career and one that will make him indelible in the club’s lore. The Nou Camp must have a special place in the Norwegian’s heart.

There are few players who have competed at both the Nou Camp and Old Trafford on a regular basis. The two stadiums are giant pantheons, belonging two of the biggest clubs in world football.
Those fortunate enough to represent both are few and far between but they are names who will be familiar to most football fans. From Gerard Pique to Victor Valdes and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
And it seems Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be returning to Spain in order to sign a player from Barcelona.
Marc Jurado will be a name not known to many. The 16 year old full-back is yet to make a first team appearance for the Catalan based side, however he could soon be a world-renowned name.
According to the latest reports in Spain by Sport via the Daily Mail, the Red Devils have agreed a contract with Marc Jurado to bring him to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
United have rarely signed Spanish youth internationals from Barcelona. Gerard Pique will be the most notorious one with the Spanish international spending his formative senior years at Old Trafford before returning to Barcelona to establish himself as one of the best defenders in the world.
Marc Jurado will be hoping he follows the same career trajectory as Pique, but United fans will wish Jurado’s spell at Old Trafford will be a more fruitful one than the current Barcelona defender’s.
The right-back certainly looks impressive, Marc Jurado is blessed with pace and a great technical ability, he could be well suited to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s counter attacking style in the future.
Do you think Marc Jurado will be a good player for Man United?
