According to the latest reports, Manchester United chief Ed Woodward could be about to make a huge transfer for the Red Devils ahead of the summer window.
In January, Woodward must have had rivulets of sweat running down in trickles from his forehead. The Manchester United chief had come under huge scrutiny in the prior months cumulating in a violent and insidious protest outside his home.
Ed Woodward seemed to be on the ropes. He was on the precipice of a potential departure from Old Trafford.
He needed to make every move count and deliver what the fans had craved for over half a decade.
His month began catastrophically with the Red Devils missing out on their number one target Erling Braut Haland. Ed Woodward was blamed as the culprit for the collapsed move but in reality the Red Devils chief merely stood by his principles against an aggressive and demanding Mino Raiola.

Solskjaer has instructed Woodward to buy young players with the view for the future.
The player who fits the mould impeccably is Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. The English international is one of the biggest prospects in the world.
He has taken the Bundesliga by storm and his arrival at Old Trafford could have a transformative impact.
Ed Woodward will be eager to bring him to Old Trafford.
And according to the Manchester Evening News via the Daily Express, the United board are already making steps to ensure a club record transfer will happen with the club desperate to make Jadon Sancho their next number seven and willing to give him the famous shirt number.
