Manchester United will beat Jose Mourinho to this exciting transfer

According to the latest reports, Manchester United will beat their foe and former manager Jose Mourinho to this exciting signing ahead of the summer window.
When he arrived at Manchester United the fans were jubilant. Jose Mourinho was set to commence a new era at Old Trafford. The ruthless winner, the special one, came to conquer everything. With an impressive pedigree in the Premier League and in European football, and with United’s hefty transfer budget, there could be only one result.
He was going to take the Red Devils back to the pinnacle of the game. Right where they belong.
The Portugal coach’s time would remain indelible at United, not for the football played which was mostly forgettable but for the antics on and off the pitch.
Jose Mourinho was clearly not the right fit for the Red Devils. His stern demeanour and rigid playing style did not suit the fans’ expectations nor the players.

In the end, Jose Mourinho’s spell at at Old Trafford would end with a catastrophic defeat to Liverpool.
There was no moment of United seeming to rise from the ashes. Rather calamitously little changed under Jose Mourinho’s leadership. The club’s turmoil simply continued.
However, whilst the Red Devils’ fortunes seemed to have changed since Mourinho’s departure, thanks to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Portugal manager cannot claim to say the same.
Jose Mourinho has now returned to London and is in charge of Tottenham, but just like at United, he seems to be on the ropes and struggling to adapt to the new and vastly different modern footballing styles which have revolutionised the game.
Mourinho’s rigid defensive structure is no longer as effective as it used to be. Managers have found ways to break down his teams and adapt to his styke.
Earlier this season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did exactly just that upon Mourinho’s return to Old Trafford when the Red Devils conquered over Tottenham with a 2-1 victory playing an explosive style of play.
And it seems according to reports by the Sun via the Daily Express that United could rub even more salt in Mourinho’s wounds.
According to the report, the Red Devils are looking to ‘hijack’ Tottenham’s move for exciting wonder-kid Joe Hugill from Sunderland.
Of course the Sun is not the most reliable paper, so the report should be taken with some caution. However Hugill regarded as an exciting prospect and having already featured for Sunderland’s U23 side despite being only 16, it wouldn’t be a surprise if both clubs are keeping an eye out on his progress.
Who do you think is the better manager for United, Jose Mourinho or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?
