These are the three most realistic transfers Manchester United could make in the summer transfer window based on the latest reports and rumours.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is trying to rekindle a dynasty at Manchester United. Following the departure of club legend Sir Alex Ferguson, the club has been through a rather arid spell in their history.

The Red Devils haven’t won a Premier League title since the Scotsman departed the club. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who served under Ferguson as a player for over a decade is desperate to change that.

The Norwegian wants to return United back to the pinnacle of English football.

More from Red Devil Armada

Having won six Premier League titles under Ferguson as a player, Solskjaer will know first hand the recipe for success.

And so far the Norwegian seems to have laid a strong foundation at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer has build the core spine of the team with the likes of Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford.

But the Red Devils’ squad still needs reinforcements in order to be able to challenge their arch rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.

The summer transfer window could offer the perfect opportunity for Solskjaer to do exactly just that. Here are three of the most realistic transfers Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make in the summer.

1. Jadon Sancho

Age: 20

Position: Winger

Jadon Sancho continues to be linked with United and it is clear the Red Devils are desperate to attract him to the club. It is no surprise of course, Jadon Sancho is one of the most exciting prospects in world football right now. He’s been in stupendous form over the last couple of seasons at Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho could be the first world-class winger United have had in the team since Cristiano Ronaldo and the prospect of the young English international lining up alongside Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial is a mouthwatering one.

Without a shadow of a doubt United will be desperate to get Jadon Sancho’s transfer over the line.

2. Jack Grealish

Age: 24

Position: Attacking-Midfielder

The Aston Villa captain has also been heavily linked with United and with Solskjaer desperate to bolster his midfield, Jack Grealish could be the perfect replacement for the likes of Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard who are set to depart in the summer.

Jack Grealish has proven he is a major talent this season. The Englishman has impressed with his excellent technical ability and his exquisite vision could be a huge asset at Old Trafford.

With Aston Villa wrapped up in a relegation battle United might be able to attract Jack Grealish on the cheap too.

3. Moussa Dembele

Age: 23

Position: Forward

The French forward continues to be linked with a move to United and with Solskjaer keen to sign a permanent forward solution in order to replace Romelu Lukaku who departed last summer, Moussa Dembele should be a no brainer.

Moussa Dembele has played in England before, as well as Scotland for Celtic which means he is well suited to the physicality of the league. His pace is well suited to Solskjaer’s style of play too and his finishing is exactly what the Red Devils have lacked this season.

Considering he’d be available for relatively cheap and the fact that he is still young, Moussa Dembele’s arrival could be a major coup.

Next. Solskjaer could be about to make a Ferguson style move this summer. dark
