According to the latest reports, Manchester United boss, Solskjaer, could be about to make a Sir Alex Ferguson style move in the summer transfer window.

For years, decades even Manchester United dominated English football. Year after year the Red Devils competed for the Premier League title. It was an unprecedented feat of dominance which will surely never be matched.

Sir Alex Ferguson orchestrated it all. The Scotsman commandeered United right to the apex of the game. Through ever era Ferguson had the ability to build squads which would be capable of bringing home the trophies he craved.

The club’s legendary coach was a true winner. He was a genius and his name will remain indelible in the history of football. The Scotsman will always be regarded as one of the best managers in world football.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spent over a decade under Ferguson’s command. The Norwegian honed much of his footballing knowledge from the Scotsman.

Now, Solskjaer is at the helm at Old Trafford and he is already trying to emulate his former master.

The Norwegian has sparked a new influx of youth in the first team, having bled the likes of Scott McTominay, Brandon Williams, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford into the team.

Promoting the youth was a key part of Ferguson’s success at United, with the Scotsman credited for the emergence of the Class of 92.

But it isn’t just in terms of the youth, that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is trying to replicate the actions of his former manager.

Solskjaer is trying to follow every recipe and vestige to Ferguson’s success.

Even in the transfer market, Solskjaer has brought players who would be well suited to Sir Alex Ferguson’s style of play. The likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes all seem like Ferguson style signings.

And according to the Daily Express, Solskjaer could pull of another Sir Alex Ferguson style ‘masterstroke’ if he sells Paul Pogba in the summer.

The report claims that Ferguson always had the ability to sell players who were past their prime such as when he offloaded David Beckham to Real Madrid and with Pogba’s form declining in recent years, Solskjaer would be repeating the same move by selling the Frenchman.

Of course only time will tell whether the report will be right, however the signs about Solskjaer’s trying to emulate his former boss is certainly a positive one.

Next. Red Devils could sign this key target for a huge bargain in the summer. dark
