According to the latest rumours it seems like Manchester United could be signing Jadon Sancho very soon ahead of the summer transfer window.
He slaloms past one, then two, skips past another and unleashes a deadly shot. The ball nestles into the back of the net. The crowd goes wild. Cheering and hugging one another in the stands. During the club’s illustrious history Manchester United fans were treated to this spectacle almost every week.
Throughout the Red Devils’ glory years, they have had world class wingers one after another. They were players who made the fans jump up from the edge of their seats. Players who entertained and bamboozled defenders for fun. From George Best, Denis Law, to David Beckham, Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The list is endless.

Yet for almost a decade now. United’s flanks have been arid. The Red Devils have tried time and time against to rekindle the golden years. To discover the heir of Cristiano Ronaldo ( the last winger to have made the Stretford End go wild), yet the Red Devils attempts have been to no avail.
From Wilfried Zaha to Alexis Sanchez and everyone in between, players have come and faltered in their attempts to commence a new era at Old Trafford.
But alas, the club’s barren spell could soon be about to end.
In Germany at the heart of Dortmund on the turf at the Signal Iduna Park, United’s next transfer target has everything what it takes.
Jadon Sancho dribbles past players with ease. His pace and clever tricks has made him an entertaining player to watch. But amidst his flamboyance, Jadon Sancho is prolific too. He has an extremely impressive record for Borussia Dortmund in terms of goals and assists.
In 90 senior games for the German outfit, Sancho has scored 31 goals and made 42 assists.
And according to the latest reports, United could have been given a huge boost in their attempts to lure Jadon Sancho to the club.
Spanish outlet Sport via the Daily Express has claimed that Dortmund have identified a replacement for Jadon Sancho as the German side will look to target Ansu Fati in the summer.
The fact that Dortmund are already identifying a replacement for Jadon Sancho could be a sign that the English international is edging closer and closer to a move to Old Trafford.
Do you think Jadon Sancho could be the star to end the barren winger rut at United?
