According to the latest reports, Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has given a major hint about signing Jadon Sancho in the summer transfer window.

At Old Trafford, there is a buzz on the Stretford End. There is a buzz inside the boardroom and among the players. Manchester United are excited about the summer ahead.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has embarked on a gargantuan endeavour at Old Trafford. His ambition is to get the Red Devils back to where they belong – the pinnacle of English football. And it seems the Norwegian may have found the perfect candidate to help him in his quest.

It’s Jadon Sancho. The 20 year old English international has been the source of the buzz at Old Trafford over the last few months.

More from Red Devil Armada

United have purportedly embarked on a relentless pursuit to try and lure the young Englishman back to Manchester. Although this time, Sancho would represent the red side of the city rather than the blue.

You can hardly fault the fans and the players for the buzz. Jadon Sancho deserves all the hype. He is everything the club has yearned for. Ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Red Devils have been devoid of world-class wingers.

Yet often the flanks has been the foundation of success at Old Trafford.

Sancho could finally put an end to the club’s barren run in terms of wingers.

The 20 year old Borussia Dortmund prospect is regarded as one of the best up and coming wingers in the game.

Jadon Sancho has ramped up some impressive numbers already in terms of goals and assists in his short career.

However it isn’t just statistically that Jadon Sancho is impressive. The English international has the ability to make football into a spectacle. He has bags of pace and flair. Sancho can slalom past defenders with ease performing flamboyant tricks in the process. He is the master of deceit.

Just the thought of Jadon Sancho lining up in a Red Devils shirt makes one’s mouth water.

However it seems that due to the current situation the Red Devils might struggle to sanction a move.

United chief Ed Woodward revealed via the Guardian that business might not be as usual. The club’s chief said the following:

"“On this basis, I cannot help feeling that speculation around transfers of individual players for hundreds of millions of pounds this summer seems to ignore the realities that face the sport.”"

With Jadon Sancho valued over £100 million, Woodward’s words hint that the Red Devils might struggle to fulfil Solskjaer’s ambitions.
