Manchester United still want to bring this world-class striker to Old Trafford

According to the latest reports, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still keen to bring Erling Haaland to Old Trafford in the future.
When rumours first surfaced about Erling Braut Haland moving to Manchester United, it seemed like it had been written in the stars.
Just a few years prior, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was the manager to have given the Norwegian teenager his first opportunity in professional football at Molde.
The years have treated the pair kindly, and as they separated both found even more imperious form at their new clubs.

Haaland, especially, moulded himself into one of the deadliest forwards at Red Bull Salzburg. His goalscoring prowess tormented some of the best defences in Europe including Liverpool and Napoli this season.
At the same time, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was desperate to bring a striker to Old Trafford in January. Romelu Lukaku‘s departure had left the Red Devils short upfront and they had been in a severe lack of form.
Alas, ultimately the Red Devils failed to land the Norwegian. Instead Haland opted to sign for German giants Borussia Dortmund.
It was a bitter blow to Solskjaer and one which left him scrambling.
But the move has paid off for Haland so far. The towering centre forward has struck 12 goals in his first 11 games for Dortmund so far and he probably would have had a lot more if the season had not been suspended.
Solskjaer is still on a search for a striker to bring to Old Trafford.
And it seems the Norwegian has not given up on his pursuit of Haland. According to German outlet Bild via Manchester Evening News, United are prepared to make another move for the Norwegian forward in the summer.
It would be an audacious attempt, however one that could have a huge pay off for the Red Devils.
Haland is without a shadow of a doubt one of the biggest prospects in world football at the moment. The forward will have a very prolific career.
If somehow Solskjaer could still lure him to Old Trafford, Haland could completely transform the Red Devils.
