Manchester United will move to sign important Real Madrid player

According to the latest reports, Manchester United could be on the brink of making a move for this current Real Madrid star in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United fans perhaps don’t remember a lot of non-United goals, however you will remember this one.
It is the 2014 World Cup. A fierce clash between South American rivals Colombia and Uruguay. The ball is cleared and then headed towards the Colombian boy wonder, James Rodriguez. The Colombian midfielder chests it down and with one deft shot he fires it towards the Uruguayan goal. The ball loops over the goalkeeper, brushes down from the post and nestles into the back of the net in one great thump.
It is one of the all time classic goals scored at the tournament. One that is indelible to any football fan.

James Rodriguez was on fire in the World Cup that year. The Colombian scored six goals and he was largely unplayable. His swift movement in the pivot role, lithe and supple tricks made him every defenders nightmare.
Rodriguez was just 22 years of age at the time. The world had thought they had found the next superstar.
His performances earned Rodriguez a lucrative move to Real Madrid. Barring a two year loan spell at Bayern Munich, the Colombian has been with the Galacticos ever since.
Now at 28 years of age, James Rodriguez has not fulfilled all the hype which had been heaped upon him after the World Cup, but he has had a successful career nonetheless.
James has often played a pivotal role in the Real Madrid side which conquered the Champions League three times in a row.
However this season, since his return from Bayern Munich, James Rodriguez has struggled to fight himself into Zinedine Zidane‘s side.
He has only played 13 games in total.
And it seems the time for a permanent change is now.
According to Spanish publication AS via the Metro, that change could be Manchester United, with the Red Devils reportedly set to make a move for the Colombian in the summer transfer window.
United are in need of midfield reinforcements and James Rodriguez could be an ideal replacement for Juan Mata. He could form a formidable partnership with Bruno Fernandes.
