Premier League rivals set to make shock move for Manchester United star

According to the latest reports a Premier League rival could make a shock move for this Manchester United star in the summer transfer window.
Academy products are often given more patience than your average run of the mill player at Manchester United. It has been in the club’s roots to bring through youth ever since the pioneering days under Sir Matt Busby.
From the Class of 92, to even the current crop of youngsters, Old Trafford has always been fuelled by players coming through Carrington.
The Red Devils pride themselves on establishing their very own as key members of the squad and abstaining from hefty purchases unless necessary.

Perhaps that is the reason why Jesse Lingard has enjoyed such a long and enduring career at Old Trafford. While the 27 year old England international is far from a talentless player, Lingard has rarely ever shown form worthy enough to meet the requirements at Old Trafford.
But for one reason or another, somewhat fortuitously, over the years Lingard had always managed to be in with the chance of regular minutes.
It seems the illusion might be coming to an end however. Jesse Lingard is purported to be on his way out of Old Trafford in the summer.
The signs have been blatant. Jesse Lingard teamed up with super-agent Mino Raiola in the past few months. Raiola has a fraught relationship with the club and it is rare that any of his clients remain at Old Trafford for an extensive period.
But whereas before, Lingard has mostly been linked with moves away abroad, it seems that a new and surprising candidate has entered the race for the midfielder more closer to home.
Arsenal and United once shared a fierce rivalry under the leadership of their respective former leaders in Wenger and Ferguson.
That rivalry has dissipated over the years with the two clubs’ stock both diminishing.
However it could be reignited.
According to The Athletic via GiveMeSport Arsenal could be on the verge of making a move for Jesse Lingard in the summer.
That will raise a few eyebrows and surely the Red Devils would be reluctant to sell to an old rival. A rival who is competing to return to the top four just like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s side.
Would you sell Jesse Lingard to Arsenal?
