Manchester United set to make £70m bid for world-class midfielder

According to the latest reports Manchester United will attempt to lure this world class midfielder to Old Trafford with an audacious £70 million bid.
Manchester United’s midfield was always a star studded cast, throughout the club’s history. From the era of Charlton and Law, to Scholes and co in the 2000s.
The midfield is integral to any successful side. They are the engines which keeps the team ticking and the gears to ensure the side aren’t derailed.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s Red Devils have often struggled as a result of the poor midfield options at the Norwegian’s disposal.

Often United’s midfield would leave a gaping hole in the team. Their non-existent presence was easy to exploit even for much poorer opposition.
Results suffered as a consequence, however the situation has been ameliorated by the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and the timely return of Scott McTominay from injury.
But United’s midfield is far from ready to compete at the level the Red Devils aspire to be at.
Much needed reinforcements will be necessary in the summer transfer window if the club has any chance of getting back to the pinnacle of the game.
One of those midfield options could be the exciting Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.
According to Spanish newspaper AS via the Daily Express, the Red Devils are preparing to make a £70 million bid for the midfielder.
Saul Niguez has everything you need for a midfielder. His exuberant energy is the perfect igniter to keep the engines running in the midfield. His distribution is top class having honed his skills under Spain’s tiki taka system.
He can dart through the midfield with his exemplary technical ability and clever use of the drop of the shoulder.
He’s able to contribute defensively too. Having been bedded into a rigid system under Diego Simeone, Saul Niguez has been fashioned into a tough midfielder ready for the hustle and bustle of the Premier League.
His versatility is also a huge asset. Saul Niguez can play in virtually all the midfield roles as well as on the flanks.
In addition, he is familiar in front of goal too and can be deadly when he is playing further up the field.
