Manchester United make ‘important’ offer for Real Madrid target
By Bence Bocsak
According to the latest reports, Manchester United have made a key offer to land this Real Madrid target in the summer transfer window.
The transfer window is ruthless and cruel. It has the power to define a club’s fortunes. One mistake can be deadly. Manchester United and Real Madrid have both been on the positive and negative end of the battle.
They are two of the biggest clubs in world football, however their status has somewhat dwindled over the years.
Both United and Real Madrid’s plight has been a pitiful trajectory but after a change in transfer policy, the new signings at the two clubs are turning their respective team’s fortunes around.

Things are looking bright at the Bernebeau and Old Trafford. The phoenix has risen from the ashes.
Now as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Zinedine Zidane both stand on the precipice it seems they will go head to head for a key transfer target this summer.
The player in question is Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.
It is no secret, Solskjaer has been seeking to bolster his midfield. With the possible departure of Paul Pogba as well as Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira, the Norwegian will have few options to deploy in the middle of the park.
Donny van de Beek could be the ideal target. The Ajax number six is a player who plays with jaw-dropping simplicity.
He is an important cog in the Ajax midfield and someone who is able to keep the ball rolling and maintain possession.
At 22 years of age, van de Beek has proven his versatility. He can play in various roles across the midfield. The Dutchman is capable of playing a holding midfield role as well as playing further forward in a number ten.
At United, van de Beek will most likely be asked to fulfil a box to box midfield role. It is an area where he has shone over the years, including during Ajax’s spectacular run to the semi-finals of the Champions League last season.
Now Marca via Manchester Evening News has claimed that the Red Devils have made an ‘important’ bid for the Dutchman in a bid to beat Real Madrid for his services.
Donny van de Beek could be exactly what United need, and the Red Devils will be hoping they can beat Zidane in the race to sign him.
Would you be happy with the signing of Donny van de Beek?
