Manchester United make huge and unexpected demand for Paul Pogba

According to the latest reports, Manchester United have made a stunning new demand for Paul Pogba if they are to sell him in the summer transfer window.
For almost a year now Manchester United have carried a hump on their backs. This hump has grown and grown with each passing month. It is a burden which is cumbersome and one the Red Devils have tried to wrest away.
Paul Pogba’s imminent departure from Old Trafford has lingered in the air, all too tangible, for some time.
The cajoling words of superagent Mino Raiola has made the Frenchman itching to leave for pastures new. It is an itch which is continuing to increase with the passing of time.

But the Red Devils are resilient, and they are strong-willed. They won’t just let Paul Pogba go with a simple farewell.
United are looking to capitalise on the Frenchman’s departure.
The Red Devils realise that in the United midfielder they possess one of the biggest assets in world football.
On his day, Paul Pogba is the best player in the world in his position. He has demonstrated that as he guided his country to World Cup victory in Russia in 2018, as well as for many years whilst at Juventus.
At United, Pogba has been hit and miss, though in the previous season he finally seemed to hit form, before his itch to leave begun to tinker with his mind.
Yet United have stayed firm and adamant in his way.
And whilst it seems likely that the Red Devils will give into Pogba’s demands, it won’t be on the cheap.
According to a report by the Metro, United have made a hefty asking price for the Frenchman from one of his potential suitors. The English outlet has claimed that the Red Devils would accept a deal from Juventus, that would include the transfer of Matthijs de Ligt to Old Trafford, as well as a fee on top for Paul Pogba.
That would be an unprecedented transfer.
However, it could prove to be a masterstroke by the Red Devils. While, Matthijs de Ligt has failed to settle in Turin, he is still regarded as one of the most promising prospects in the world and he could be a valuable partner to Harry Maguire.
While the departure of Paul Pogba would finally release United’s perpetual burden.
