You will not believe who Manchester United are trying to sign now

According to the latest reports Manchester United will be trying to sign a hugely surprising name in the summer transfer window.
In the summer of 1996, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ronny Johnsen arrived at Manchester United. Eyebrows were raised. There was a lingering doubt over the quality of two relatively unknown players from a footballing minnow. But at the same time, the duo made history.
Solskjaer and Johnsen became the first Norwegian players to represent the club.
Their arrivals heralded a Scandinavian love affair during the 1990s at Old Trafford. And the Norwegian contingency was extended a year later with the arrival of Henning Berg.

As a result, United’s following in Norway is huge. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is one of the best players to have represented his nation and he is a United legend.
At the moment, Norway is a blossoming footballing nation. Over the past couple of years, Norway has seen a mass exodus of talent. The likes of Sander Berge, Martin Odegaard and Erling Braut Haland offer much optimism for the future.
Despite his nation’s rapid rise in fortunes, Solskjaer is yet to sign a fellow compatriot at United.
Though it has not been for a lack of trying.
Solskjaer is aware of the extensive talent pool in Norway.
He was desperate to bring Erling Braut Haland to Old Trafford in the summer. However a move never materialised in the end.
The teenage sensation has since found his home at Borussia Dortmund and has not looked back.
Solskjaer has also been linked with the likes of Odegaard and former United academy product, Joshua King, but they were tenuous reports with nothing concrete on the table.
And it seems, Solskjaer is keeping an eye out for yet another Norwegian talent.
Alexander Sorloth still belongs to Crystal Palace on paper, however the tall forward has been shipped out on loan during the past couple of seasons after an unsuccessful stint in the Premier League.
While, Alexander Sorloth’s first loan spell at Gent was less than successful, he moved to Trazbonspor this season and has seemed to have found his goalscoring boots.
Alexander Sorloth has scored 25 goals already this season. His pace, strength and fearsome heading ability has been ripping Turkish defences to shreds.
And Turkish outlet Fanatak via the Metro claims Solskjaer is interested in bringing his fellow countryman, Alexander Sorloth, to Old Trafford in the summer.
The link is a huge surprise considering, Alexander Sorloth is regarded as a flop at Crystal Palace.
