According to the latest reports Manchester United will sell this star player in order to sign Kalidou Koulibaly in the summer transfer window.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a plethora of transfer options ahead of him in the summer. The Norwegian has eyed up some of the finest talents in world football. All his targets have the ability to completely transform Manchester United’s fortunes.
From Jadon Sancho, Harry Kane to Kalidou Koulibably.
The club’s former legendary coach, Sir Alex Ferguson once coined the term that ‘attack wins you games, defence wins you titles.’

It will be quote which will ring in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s ears when he makes his decision in the summer.
The Red Devils defence has often been shaky this season. Harry Maguire was brought in last summer but he desperately needs a partner of the same ilk.
United have struggled in other areas, but the January signings of Odion Ighalo and Bruno Fernandes seemed to have fixed the midfield and forward issues for now.
And so, Solskjaer might be tempted to make a move for Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli as his main target.
But in order to land the world class centre back, the Norwegian might have to make a costly sacrifice.
Chris Smalling has been an enduring servant of the Red Devils since the last decade. The 30 year old however moved on loan to AS Roma this season and the English international has not looked back since.
Smalling has been one of the top centre backs in the Serie A this season. According to Whoscored statistics, he is rated higher than Kalidou Koulibaly for the current campaign.
And according to the Italian outlet la Gazetta dello Sport via 90min.com United will sell the English international if they are to buy Kalidou Koulibaly in the summer.
Kalidou Koulibaly would arrive for a steep figure at Old Trafford. Probably far higher than the £80 million Harry Maguire was signed for last summer.
And United will hope they can recompense some of that money with the sale of Chris Smalling.
Time will tell, if those rumours will prove to be true.
Either way, if Smalling stays at the club, or Koulibaly signs for the Red Devils, United will have a more than adequate candidate to partner Harry Maguire.
Would you be happy if United sold Chris Smalling and signed Kalidou Koulibaly?
