His shadow is still present on the Old Trafford turf. Manchester United fans relish memories of his eloquent moves and stupendous goals on the Stretford End. He is a memory that refuses to fade into the past.
Cristiano Ronaldo may have only spent six years with the Red Devils but in that six years he left an indelible impression on the United faithful.
The world class winger was unlike any other player who had preceded him. His rapid pace, perpetual step-overs and lethal shot made him the perfect player.

The English news outlet claims that Jadon Sancho‘s arrival could have the potential to finally erase the lingering memories of Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
And they might not be wrong. If the Red Devils manage to lure Jadon Sancho to the club in the summer he could be the perfect signing.
Jadon Sancho, who recently turned twenty, is one of the biggest prospects in world football at the moment.
The English international became a pioneer when he made the move to Borussia Dortmund and it has paid dividends.
At Dortmund, Jadon Sancho was given a regular run in the first team and he proved he was worthy of all the hype.
His creativity, pace combined with his unique ability to beat his opponent one on one makes him a generational talent.
Sancho is certainly of the same ilk as Ronaldo and he could have the same impact at Old Trafford.
