Manchester United to make sensational transfer from Spanish giants

According to the latest reports Manchester United could be on the brink of trying to make a sensational transfer for this Barcelona superstar.
Barcelona and Manchester United have fought some fierce battles over the years. From several semi-final and knockout clashes to two Champions League finals in the past decade. Often the Red Devils have been on the losing end, however the two clubs are still regarded as the best in the world.
Very few players have donned both colours, the likes of Gerard Pique, Mark Hughes, Alexis Sanchez and Zlatan Ibrahimovic spring to mind.
Their stadiums are football shrines, the lore behind the Nou Camp and Old Trafford is illustrious. They are ancient cauldrons of football where history had been written for almost over a hundred years.

The privilege to grace the turf wearing the crests of the two clubs is given to few.
Antoine Griezmann has had an explosive career and could be on the brink of emulating the above mentioned players.
The French attacker was always someone who stood out from the crowd. He made a rare move from France to Spain as a youngster to Real Sociedad after being rejected for his size by several French clubs.
In Spain, he honed his skills with Sociedad and established himself as a key player for the Spanish outfit’s first team.
His dazzling performances have since led him to Atletico Madrid, Champions League and Europa League finals as well as a sensational World Cup victory.
Now Antoine Griezmann finds himself at the Nou Camp and Barcelona.
The French attacker arrived with high hopes. The Catalans have rested their hopes on Griezmann having a transformative impact at Barca, but despite his best efforts he has failed to live up to expectations.
Griezmann’s main task was to abate the perpetual longing for Neymar’s sensational return to the Nou Camp, but instead the Frenchman has only increased the yearning for the PSG frontman’s homecoming.
And it seems the Catalans are willing to cut their losses and move on from Antoine Griezmann.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona are looking to sell Griezmann to the likes of Manchester United in the summer in order to raise funds for another marque signing.
Griezmann could be an ideal purchase by the Red Devils. The French star despite not catching the eye, still has 14 goals this season.
