Manchester United want Sancho and one more ‘high profile’ player

Manchester United are confident of signing Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund in the summer and they also want one other star player.

Manchester United are bracing themselves for a huge summer transfer window. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to lead the club back to their former glory days.

It is a monumental task and the Red Devils will need a lot of tinkering before they are ready to fulfil Solskjaer’s mission.

The summer will be a vital period in establishing the foundations for his project.

For the past few years, the United faithful have often felt betrayed by the club in summer transfer window with the Red Devils failing to bring in the right calibre of players.

Another colossal error this summer could make the fans even more disillusioned with the board and the trajectory of the team.

Of course much will hinge on the performance of the Red Devils from now until the end of the season.

If the club does not make the Champions League it could have a disastrous consequence on United’s chances of signing their ideal targets.

However according to the Daily Mirror, United are ‘confident’ of making the Champions League and signing Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund. The report claims that the Red Devils ‘believe they are in pole position’ in the race to sign Sancho despite rumoured interest from Paris Saint Germain.

That will be music to the ears of the Red Devils faithful and the good news does not end there.

According to the Mirror, in addition to Sancho, United are also looking to bring in a ‘high profile’ forward to supplement their attacking options.

While the Mirror does not detail who this striker could be, the club have recently been linked with Harry Kane of Tottenham who is reportedly interested in the prospect of joining United.

If the Red Devils manage to land both superstars, the club could undoubtedly be heading towards a successful season.

With Kane and Sancho in the club’s ranks they will have the personnel to challenge for the Premier League title and compete against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

For the first time in a while it seems United mean business in the summer and the Red Devils faithful will not be disappointed.
