Manchester United will fight arch rivals for Mourinho’s best player

According to the latest reports Manchester United will face stiff competition from their arch rivals in order to land Jose Mourinho’s best Tottenham player.
It is not often that a World Cup top scorer is on the transfer market. But in the case of Harry Kane that might just be the case. And unsurprisingly when a player of his ilk becomes available two of the biggest clubs in the Premier League in Manchester United and Manchester City will fight with everything they have for his services.
United have been rumoured to be keen on bringing Harry Kane to Old Trafford for several years now.
It is hardly a surprise, Harry Kane is a generational player who has been scoring goals for fun ever since he emerged out of nowhere at White Hart Lane towards the end of the 2013/14 season.

Harry Kane’s exemplary ability to pick up the ball from deep lying areas and carry it forward effectively for his team-mates, as well as being able to find the back of the net on a consistent basis, makes him a formidable player.
The forward has the potential to become a Premier League legend and while many have tipped him to stay at his boyhood club Tottenham until the end of his career, that seems unlikely.
According to the latest reports with Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham unlikely to reach the European spots this season, Kane seems reluctant to stay with the London club.
Meanwhile, United are looking more and more likely to make the Champions League and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been desperate to sign a striker since the departure of Romelu Lukaku in the summer.
Solskjaer’s efforts to sign his compatriot and teenage sensation Erling Braut Haland were to no avail in January.
Now inevitably reports have linked United with a move for Harry Kane.
However, United’s pursuit of the England captain might not be clear cut.
According to Tuttosport via the Daily Mirror, United could face competition from both Italian giants, Juventus and the Red Devils’ arch rivals, Manchester City, who are also both interested in signing Harry Kane in the summer.
The news promises to make the summer an exciting period for the Red Devils.
