What a season. What a player. Mason Greenwood has been turning heads since he emerged onto the scene at the beginning of the campaign much to the delight of the Old Trafford faithful.

The 18 year old has been one of the most prolific teenagers in European football. His ability to score goals from his cameos and the rare starts in between has made him a huge asset and has established himself as one of the brightest prospects in the world.

Already Greenwood is being compared to Manchester United cult hero Robin Van Persie and the resemblance is undoubtedly there.

The range of finishes has been extremely impressive from the 18 year old. Greenwood seems to have an innate ability to find the back of the net and he is comfortable with both feet.

Without a shadow of a doubt Greenwood will go right to the top. Already the 18 year old is surpassing the likes of Marcus Rashford and others who have broken through the ranks before him.

Without a shadow of a doubt Marcus Rashford has been the club’s top performer this season.

Many had doubts over the United striker before the beginning of the season after a poor campaign last year. With the departure of Romelu Lukaku, Rashford had big shoes to fill but he has exceeded expectations at Old Trafford.

Since making the breakthrough almost half a decade ago, at 22 years of age Rashford seems to have finally shed the heavy expectations and has turned into the player many expected him to become.

An unfortunate injury may have ended his season prematurely but his performances at the start of the campaign certainly merit his inclusion at the top of this list.

Marcus Rashford has been incredible. He has scored goals with ease and his dribbling ability has vastly improved. Sometimes it has even been reminiscent of Cristiano Ronaldo.

United have often looked flat in his absence.

Manchester United fans will be eagerly anticipating his return.
