This summer will be the final stage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s rebuilding process at Old Trafford.

After two transfer windows, the Norwegian should be well poised after the summer to meet the criteria of success at the club.

Already United are showing signs of great development since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes. The squad finally seems to have clicked together.

The foundations have been laid with the arrival of Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka which has forged a steely defensive wall.

All Solskjaer needs to do is some fine tuning in the summer.

The Norwegian needs the right calibre of players. Players with the right mindset and the ample amount of potential which could help catapult the team right to the very top, where United belong.

With the midfield still needing reinforcements, a perfect candidate would be Birmingham City’s Jude Bellingham.

The 16 year old has shown tremendous amounts of potential in the Championship this season and he is regarded as one of the best prospects in England at this current moment of time.

The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the English youth international and they could be edging closer to completing a deal.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils have given Jude Bellingham ‘a tour’ of their training ground recently in order to entice the 16 year old to make the switch to Old Trafford.

The fact the two parties are already meeting face to face could be an indication that a deal is getting closer and closer.

With so much potential and raw ability, the signing of Jude Bellingham would be the perfect way to start the summer transfer window.

If Bellingham can fulfil his potential he could become a mainstay in the United team for decades to come.
