It seems Manchester United could lose out on their ideal and perfect David de Gea replacement to arch rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Frank Lampard shared the pitch many times as players. Often they participated in fierce battles challenging for the title or a European spot and representing Manchester United and Chelsea respectively.
Now as managers they are undertaking the same fight from the sidelines. It is a new but equally fierce battle with the challenge for the top four extremely close at the moment.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already got the better of Frank Lampard three times on the pitch, with three impressive victories this season. However Lampard leads the race for the top four with his Chelsea side three points ahead of the Red Devils.

It seems the transfer window could be another venue where the blues will conquer over the Red Devils.
According to the Daily Star via the Metro, Chelsea are ‘ready’ to make a move for Dean Henderson in the summer.
Dean Henderson is currently on loan from Manchester United at Sheffield United this season and has been a revelation for the Blades who are still competing for a European spot.
Meanwhile United’s first choice keeper, David de Gea, has struggled at times this season and has made some errors leading to the Red Devils losing points.
It had been rumoured that United want to keep Dean Henderson at the club in order to make him David de Gea’s replacement, however interest will be fierce for the young English goalkeeper.
With Chelsea now set to be breathing down the necks of the Red Devils and Sheffield United undoubtedly also keen on retaining their star keeper it will be a difficult battle for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However it is one the Norwegian must ensure he does not lose.
David de Gea has not been the best lately meanwhile Dean Henderson could be the future of English football. He is a bright asset and a true gem and the Red Devils should do everything in their power to convince him to stay at Old Trafford.
