Manchester United set to sign Mourinho’s best player in shock move
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United could be on the brink of landing a huge summer transfer by signing one of Jose Mourinho’s best players from Tottenham.
Jose Mourinho’s time at Manchester United will forever be riddled by the abysmal state he left the Red Devils in. Despite marginal success, a second place finish in the Premier League without any trophies to bring home was not good enough.
Mourinho’s inaugural season with the club ended with ultimate defeat in both the Premier League and the FA Cup final.
His successor, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has faired somewhat better in the job and his vision seems more aligned with the ethos of Manchester United.

Meanwhile Jose Mourinho has moved onto pastures new and has resided in London once more, at Tottenham Hotspur.
Inevitably despite taking diverging paths, the two parties might find each other face to face yet again and not just on the football pitch.
According to the latest reports United could be on the brink of a major coup from Mourinho’s current team.
A report by Goal via Manchester Evening News has claimed that Harry Kane would consider a move to Old Trafford this summer.
Tottenham look unlikely to reach the Champions League spots this season and Kane might not want to stick around.
Getting into his prime years at 26, Kane will want to compete at the highest level in order to fulfil his career ambition.
Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s new vision, Harry Kane might just be able to do exactly just that.
The English superstar could be the striker the Red Devils have yearned for in the January transfer window.
Solskjaer failed with an attempt to sign his fellow compatriot, Erling Braut Haland who opted to chose Borussia Dortmund instead.
However, Harry Kane who is more than familiar with the Premier League could be an even better option.
He is undoubtedly England’s best player at the moment and he could have a transformative impact on Solskjaer’s side.
Of course United will have to fork out a fortune for Kane, with Mourinho at the helm and with the stringent Daniel Levy in charge, but every penny could be worth it.
What do you think, would Harry Kane be a good signing for United?
