Manchester United and Paul Pogba are going through a tumultuous relationship and it seems the Red Devils have been dealt yet another blow.

Paul Pogba has been like a festering wound at Manchester United during the past few months. The French World Cup winner desperately wanted to depart Old Trafford since last summer but his attempts have been to no avail.

Now Paul Pogba has been stuck at the club for an unforeseeable time and the rumours surrounding his future and current position at United just won’t go away.

Paul Pogba’s suitors seems less and less likely to want to make a move for his services. Many seem to be repelled by the hefty asking price from the Red Devils.

And with Pogba having not played consistently for some time, there is doubt and a question mark over his ability.

The French midfielder has been wreaked with a recurring injury all season which has made him an even more elusive figure at Old Trafford. Pogba has featured in a mere seven games for the club in the Premier League.

His absence has left a void in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s midfield. Often the Red Devils have been exploited for their lack of energy and creativity without Paul Pogba.

However just a month ago it seemed United had finally received some good news over their star player as it seemed that Pogba would be able to return to action by the end of February.

It would have meant that Paul Pogba would have been able to play in a crucial derby match against Manchester City.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems to have been dealt another blow ahead of the game and it seems the Frenchman will no longer be able to feature against the club’s arch rivals.

The Norwegian boss revealed that Pogba’s return to action is still uncertain. Speaking via the Evening Standard, Solskjaer said the following:

"“Paul’s still working with the physios outside and he won’t be training with the first team until next week. Then let’s see how long that will take. He needs time to get his football fitness back.”"

New signing Bruno Fernandes has done well to fill Pogba’s void in recent times and the Red Devils faithful can only hope that the Portuguese playmaker will be enough to get the crucial victory against Manchester City.
