Manchester United finally identify perfect Harry Maguire partner
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United have been on the hunt to find a defensive partner for current club captain, Harry Maguire, and they have found the perfect candidate.
At Old Trafford an icon is under construction. Harry Maguire only arrived at Manchester United last summer but he has already become the club captain and a fan favourite.
The English international who has been a cult hero among English fans after his heroic performances in the World Cup in 2018, has been the club’s best performer this season.
His distribution and confidence on the ball has often instigated attacks, meanwhile his composure and level headedness at the back has been the saviour for United at times.

Harry Maguire has only lacked one thing. That is the right partner to assist him at the heart of defence.
Questions still loom over whether Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly are good enough to be regular starters at the club.
If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is serious about taking the Red Devils back to where they belong, he might need a much stronger and proven player to partner his club captain.
And it seems the Norwegian may have found the ideal player to do just that.
According to Corriere dello Sport via the Daily Express, Manchester United are leading the race to sign Napoli and Senegal centre back Kalidou Koulibaly.
Koulibaly has been a stalwart defender in the Serie A and has proven his quality over the last two seasons in the Champions League putting in some exemplary performances against Liverpool.
His good form has earned him many plaudits and a plethora of interest from some of Europe’s elite clubs.
However it seems United could be the ones to sign Kalidou Koulibably.
Undoubtedly, Kalidou Koulibably could be the perfect partner for Harry Maguire. The 28 year old has the strength and more crucially the pace which Maguire can sometimes lack.
In addition the pair of them both read the game astutely and are commanding presences in the air.
Their partnership could make the Red Devils invincible and finally solve the defensive issues which have wreaked havoc on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
What do you think, would Kalidou Koulibaly be a good signing?
