United need to be reborn from the ashes and ascend into new heights and glory.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done well to rebuild the foundations needed for that necessary rebirth. He has built a strong backline and it could get even stronger with the return of a fresh Chris Smalling from Rome who has excelled in Italy since his loan move in the summer.

The midfield and the frontline however still needs adjustments and bolstering. And according to the Daily Express via the Manchester Evenings News United may have found a perfect candidate to do exactly just that. The report claims that the Red Devils are contemplating a summer move for Wolves winger Diogo Jota.

United have already made a Portuguese addition to their squad in the January window with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Jota could soon join his fellow international team mate.

Diogo Jota has been in good form for Wolverhampton Wanderers this season. The winger, who is also capable of playing up front and just in behind the striker, has especially excelled in the Europa League where he currently has 9 goals and 5 assists in 11 games.

His versatility could make him an ideal addition to the Red Devils squad. Diogo Jota is full of flair and has that special quality about him which has earned him cult hero status at Wolves.
