Manchester United could be on the brink of beating Spanish giants, Barcelona, to the signing of this exciting talent from one of Italy’s biggest clubs.
Manchester United are expected to invest heavily in the summer transfer market. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on a clear and plain mission. He wants to get the Red Devils back to where they belong.
A key piece missing in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s jigsaw at the moment is a world class forward. The Norwegian attempted to remedy this in the January transfer window by trying to sign Erling Braut Haland but his fellow countryman rejected United’s advances and moved to Borussia Dortmund instead.
United have been forced to opt for a temporary option in Odion Ighalo, but they will undoubtedly sing a more permanent solution in the summer.

Many names have been thrown around who are reportedly being targeted by Manchester United.
Some like Lautaro Martinez seemed unattainable with Spanish giants Barcelona also pursuing his services.
However according to the latest reports United may triumph over Barcelona in their pursuit to sign Lautaro Martinez.
CalcioMercato via Manchester Evening News, reports that Barcelona are set to lose the race to sign Lautaro Martinez with Inter Milan unwilling to accept the structured deal the Catalans could offer.
That will give the Red Devils the free reigns to sign the Argentinian forward who has been in hot form this season.
Lautaro Martinez has bagged 16 goals in 30 matches in all competitions for Inter Milan. His pace and robust style of play makes him reminiscent of Luis Suarez and being only 22 years of age he could end up becoming a potential world class superstar at Manchester United.
In the past, Manchester Evening News claims Manchester City have also held an interest in Lautaro Martinez which means the Red Devils will have to act quickly.
With Inter Milan having signed so many of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men in recent times it is about time the Red Devils signed one of their players.
