World class Manchester United target compared to Neymar

One of Manchester United’s primary targets has been compared to the Brazilian superstar Neymar after another stunning performance.
Perhaps not many remember, but Manchester United were desperate to sign Neymar during his time at Santos. Back then the exciting whizz kid was one of the biggest prospects in world football.
Sir Alex Ferguson saw him as the perfect Cristiano Ronaldo replacement. However for one reason or another the deal never came to fruition.
The Red Devils signed Wilfried Zaha instead and Neymar has gone onto conquer the world at Barcelona and now Paris Saint Germain.

United’s plight in the years Neymar has dominated European football has been severe. The club are currently languishing in the shadows of their two arch rivals in Manchester City and Liverpool.
Something drastic needs to change at Old Trafford quickly if they are to make it back to the top.
A new signing could have that transformative effect, especially when the player in question is Jadon Sancho.
According to numerous reports Manchester United are in the race to try and sign the young English international and the Red Devils will be alerted by the reviews of Jadon Sancho’s latest performance.
Jadon Sancho was exceptional on Tuesday night as he helped Borussia Dortmund secure victory against Paris Saint Germain. Sancho weaved past players with ease and bamboozled defenders with his flair and skill.
Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hagreaves on BT Sports via the Daily Mail praised Jadon Sancho’s performance and described it as ‘like Neymar in his prime.’
Hagreaves also urged the Red Devils to get their ‘cheque books out’ in order to wrap up a deal for the player.
And Hagreaves is not wrong, Jadon Sancho is most definitely in the same ilk as Neymar. If anything the uncanny vision Jadon Sancho has and the ability to set-up his teammates on a regular basis makes him even better than the Brazilian.
United failed to sign Neymar back in the day and they came to regret it. The club must learn from their mistake and do everything in their power to land Jadon Sancho. Otherwise they will rue their failure just like they did with Neymar.
