Manchester United to sign £40m rated Premier League star
By Bence Bocsak
According to the latest reports Manchester United could raid their former manager for a very talented Premier League midfielder and England international.
Manchester United are on a mission to rebuild and regroup. The club have succumbed under the burden of losing their charismatic leader Sir Alex Ferguson and in almost a decade since his departure they have progressively regressed further and further away from the pinnacle of English football.
Now the Red Devils linger in the shadows of two of their arch rivals in Liverpool and Manchester City. The club face an arduous task of fighting to reach the top once more. Perhaps the task of the manager has never been greater at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done an amicable job so far. He hasn’t been remarkable but neither has he been particularly poor, of course the month of January was extremely disappointing but previously the Norwegian has done well to build the base of the United squad.

At the heart of the defence, the Red Devils now have the solid Harry Maguire, at right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is blossoming into an accomplished defender, meanwhile the emergence of Brandon Williams could be one of the most exciting talents to have come through the ranks at Carrington for a while.
Upfront, the Red Devils are well equipped for the future with the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.
The area where United need to rebuild the most is in midfield. Often the Red Devils midfield has looked shapeless and rugged this season. And with Paul Pogba set to depart Old Trafford in the summer, the Red Devils are expected to bring in several midfield additions in order to bolster that area when the transfer window opens.
One of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s midfield signings could be Harry Winks from Tottenham according to the Daily Mirror via the Metro. With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said to be determined in bringing Harry Winks to Old Trafford in the summer.
Harry Winks has been a valuable asset to Tottenham’s squad since making the breakthrough as an 18 year old and has been impressing this season in particular. Harry Winks even managed to net his first England goal earlier this season.
According to the report he will be available for around £40 million which is a hefty fee but given his experience it could be worth the gamble.
What do you think, would Harry Winks be a good signing for Manchester United?
