The Manchester United forward has made a huge promise to the club about what he will do when he comes back from his long term injury.
Marcus Rashford is the epitome of the perfect Manchester United player. The 22 year old forward has been at the Red Devils since he was 8 years old. Rashford is a United player through and through and rightly the fans favourite at Old Trafford right now.
Of course Rashford’s career trajectory has not been straight forward. Having made incredible strides as a 17 year old in the first team upon his breakthrough campaign, things stagnated somewhat under the chopping and changing of managers.
Rashford was still learning his trade and he was occasionally criticised for inconsistencies in his form and not being able to find the back of the net regularly.
It was not entirely Rashford’s fault. The United forward was still a young player who had yet to develop into his prime, despite this the Red Devils were heavily relying on his performances and it heaped an unnecessary pressure on the young striker’s shoulders.
Nonetheless Rashford endured the taunts and he fought through adversity.
This season despite the club not having the best of times in terms of form, Rashford is set to have his best season ever in terms of statistics at Manchester United.
With the departure of Romelu Lukaku, Rashford has stepped forward and established himself as the Red Devils’ best player by a country mile.
He has awed fans with eye catching performances and silky skills as well as some incredible strikes to help the club crawl out of trouble.
His injury came as a major blow to the Red Devils and United will sorely miss Rashford whilst he is stuck on the sidelines.
Nonetheless, Rashford is determined to come back and he gave the Red Devils fans some promising statements on social media.
The 22 year old commented on an official Manchester United post about the best goals of the month and replied with a promise to add to the ‘list once’ he is back.
You best believe I’ll be adding to this list once I’m back 😎😉

This is a hugely promising statement by Rashford and it hints that he could return before the end of the season.
United desperately need his services having struggled in front of goal already without him.
What do you think will Marcus Rashford play before the end of the season?
