Manchester United finally given boost to sign £80m rated star
By Bence Bocsak
Manchester United have long been reported to have held an interest in the Premier League star and they could have just been given a huge boost.
When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of Manchester United surely even he couldn’t predict just how difficult of a job he was embarking on. The Red Devils are in a dire state at the moment and the club is extremely far away from where they are aspiring to be.
Despite having been in the job for over a year, Solskjaer still has a long and arduous road ahead of him if he is to succeed at Old Trafford.
The United squad is still far from the quality expected of the Red Devils. Major reinforcements are needed despite some fruitful additions in the likes of Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes.

The club’s midfield still needs to add solidity and compactness. The lack of cohesion in midfield has often seen the Red Devils dominated by inferior opponents in the Premier League this season.
And with Paul Pogba rumoured to be on his way out of the club, Solskjaer’s midfield problems at United could worsen in the summer.
It is why the Red Devils desperately need some reinforcements and they might have found a perfect candidate.
Declan Rice of West Ham United is a promising midfield player who is already an England international and who could provide the steel required at United.
The Red Devils have been linked with Rice in the past and recently West Ham manager David Moyes hinted at a potential departure being on the cards for his star player.
Via the Metro David Moyes said when speaking about Rice, that ‘quite often when building a club you have to sell.’ This is perhaps a subtle hint at Moyes’ acceptance of Declan Rice’s inevitable departure from the club.
And if the West Ham manager has already come to terms with losing Declan Rice that will give the Red Devils a major boost in their pursuit of the player.
What do you think would Declan Rice be a good signing for Manchester United?
