Manchester United have already identified world class summer target

Manchester United have already identified their perfect transfer target for the summer window and could make a move for him soon.
Manchester United conducted some shrewd business during the January transfer window. The signing of Bruno Fernandes was paramount for the Red Devils. Yet Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is clearly still not satisfied with his current squad. You could see it from his sighs and his grimaces during the Red Devils dire 0-0 draw with Wolverhampton at the weekend.
The United squad is thin and there are several deadwood players who should be replaced.
Of course January is a notoriously difficult window to conduct business in. It was exemplified by the Red Devils’ acquisition of Odion Ighalo which was dubbed by many as ‘a panic buy’ and raised eyebrows.

United will hope they have better luck in the summer and with plenty of time to prepare it seems they have already set their sights on their ideal target.
According to the Daily Mirror via Manchester Evening News the Red Devils are ‘hell bent’ on trying to sign Napoli and Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
United’s defence has often been shaky and looked haphazard at times this season. Therefore it is no surprise that despite the additions of Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still wants to solidify his defensive options.
In Kalidou Koulibaly the Red Devils may have identified the perfect target. The current Napoli centre back is widely regarded as the best player, barring Virgil Van Dijk, in the world in his position.
He is a strong and commanding presence with the physicality to suit the Premier League and he could compliment Harry Maguire well at the heart of the Manchester United defence.
Of course the Red Devils will have to pay a hefty fee to land the Senegalese international but for a player of his quality and the impact he could have on the squad, the money would be well worth it.
