Manchester United star to leave for European giants
By Bence Bocsak
The Manchester United star could be on the brink of a move away from Old Trafford with top European giants eyeing his services.
Manchester United no longer have the gigantic status they once had under the leadership of Sir Alex Ferguson. Back in those days, footballing stars were lining up to play for the club. However now the Red Devils have been accustomed to some major disappointments with players rejecting the club in favour of other teams. A prime and recent example of this is the case of Erling Haaland.
United’s status in world football is therefore fragile. Having fallen from their throne they face a huge task of trying to get back to where they belong.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not had the best of luck at the club and he has allowed some top stars to leave the Red Devils including Romelu Lukaku who has flourished in Italy since his departure.

Now it seems that another star could be on the brink of leaving the club. It has been well reported that Manchester United midfielder and England international Jesse Lingard has recently switched to be represented by the infamous football agent Mino Raiola.
And it seems Raiola has already got to work in trying to land his client a new club. According to ESPN via the Daily Express both Roma and Atletico Madrid are interested in Jesse Lingard and could make a move for him in the summer.
Lingard has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and his current poor run of form has been a notorious ridicule on social media.
With the recent arrival of Bruno Fernandes, Lingard’s position in the starting eleven at the Red Devils has become even more fragile.
A move abroad away from the scrutiny of the English fanbase and with more opportunities to start might just be the perfect option for Lingard.
Both Atletico Madrid and Roma would be appealing destinations for Lingard. Both clubs have a huge fanbase and a rich history.
What do you think will Jesse Lingard leave Manchester United?
